Devilled Mushrooms




1 lb button mushrooms, quartered
1 onion, quartered
1 tomato, quartered
2 banana peppers (malu miris), slit
1-2 tsp of chillie powder
2 tbsp tomato sauce (ketchup)
2 tsp soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp Ginger, finely chopped
1 tbsp oil
Heat a large wok or saucepan with half the oil. Stir-fry the mushrooms for a couple of minutes under high heat.
Remove from pan. Add the remaining oil to the pan. Lower the heat.
Add the ginger, garlic, onion and peppers fry for minute.
Next add all the other ingredients and cook for another minute.
Finally add the mushrooms, stir and serve hot.
