Battered Prawns



  1. 10 large prawns, shelled and deveined
  2. 1/2 cup flour
  3. 1 tsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1/2 tsp Ajinamoto (MSG)
  6. 1 tsp turmeric (kaha kudu)
  7. 1 cup water
  8. Oil for deep frying
  9. Combine flour, sugar, salt, Ajinamotto, turmeric in a bowl.
  10. Add water little by little and mix into a smooth paste.
  11. Dip the prawns in the mixture, and deep fry it till golden.
  12. Serve immediately.
