- 10 large prawns, shelled and deveined
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Ajinamoto (MSG)
- 1 tsp turmeric (kaha kudu)
- 1 cup water
- Oil for deep frying
- Combine flour, sugar, salt, Ajinamotto, turmeric in a bowl.
- Add water little by little and mix into a smooth paste.
- Dip the prawns in the mixture, and deep fry it till golden.
- Serve immediately.
