Potato Gulab



















Ingredients:
Filling
8 large potatoes
2 unions,finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2 chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp chilli powder or pepper
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp salt
Batter
4 tbs plain flour
1 tbs coconut cream
1 cup of cold water
1/2 tsp tumeric
Method:
Filling
1.Boil the peeled potatoes and mash them.
2.Heat oil in pan and fry the chopped onions, chillies and garlic until golden brown, adding tumerick,mustard seeds,salt, chilli powder or pepper.
3. Add the mashed potatoes into the pan and mix well. Add recommended spices as desired according to taste.
4.Take the pan out of the stove and leave the filling to cool.
5.Take some filling into palm and make round balls.
Batter
1.Beat the flour in a cup of cold water adding the coconut cream and the egg. Add tumeric to the batter and mix well
Frying
1. Heat oil in pan and take the round balls and cover with batter.
2. Deep fry until golden brown.
